Woodbine Baptist Church takes pride in being a generous church. WBC gives 10%+ of annual offerings to the Southern Baptist Convention International Mission Board, 10% of annual offerings to the SBC Cooperative Program, and a generous amount to our needy fund for the local community.

We take joy in laboring for, and sharing the Gospel with, those struggling in our community. Many of our members volunteer their labor and others give generously to meet the needs of people in our area. We share with Missionary Oswald J. Smith the belief that "any church that is not seriously involved in helping fulfill the Great Commission has forfeited its biblical right to exist."

We believe in missions. This past summer the youth spent a week in Indiana ministering in the inner city through World Changers.

"I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me" (Matthew 25:35-36).

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14).
