The Lord gave me the "desire of my heart" when He called me to Woodbine Baptist Church three years ago. I could not ask for more loving or more humble people to serve. Whether it has been visiting the shut-ins, praying over the sick and the downcast, rejoicing with believers touched by the hand of God, or leading the lost to Christ, God has blessed me with life in all of its abundance.

Biography:

I grew up in Nashville under the influence of my grandfather who was a Southern Baptist pastor. I was called to preach at seventeen and that same year I began studies at attended Baylor University where I met my wonderful wife, Kim. While attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary our son, Hampton, was born. The Lord blessed us with Leta six years later. This past year we were blessed with our first grandson.

The Lord has given me the privilege over the years to serve Him in various churches as youth pastor, assistant pastor, and pastor. The Living God also opened the doors to the Serengeti plain bordering Kenya and Tanzania to preach the Gospel and plant churches.
